Is Medium Trippin’?

Just askin’ because I’ve noticed a few oddities

I know Medium doesn’t like for us to make posts about them. I do understand. They’ve worked hard to create this platform for all of us writers — and I do apologize — but I must speak my mind here, dear Medium.

Are you trippin’? Glitchin’? or…?

You see, dear Medium, I have a backlog of responses that need to be answered — people to thank and leave comments to others, but… only about a fourth of my comments go through. So I am keeping them safely tucked away in a folder, but how long should I wait before people begin to just think me rude?

I’ve also noticed that sometimes it takes hours or days for claps to register. Don’t get me wrong, dear Medium, I do not measure my writings’ worth by claps, but I do use them as a guide to see which publications to continue posting my work on.

And just today, I noticed in the story preview, images aren’t appearing. Will our pictures show up on publications?

So if it isn’t too much trouble, dear Medium, could you please check yourself out? My mind spins enough on its own. No, really it does.

Signed,
A frustrated Medium writer
